Fulham vs Bolton Match Preview
Bolton Wanderers will be looking for points to help them climb off the bottom of the table when they travel to face Fulham on Monday.
Bolton are currently five points adrift of safety after losing their last four games, while Fulham are three points clear of the drop zone after losing 2-0 at Swansea City.
Simon Davies and Steve Sidwell are ruled out with injury for Fulham, while striker Babby Zamora is struggling with a knee injury.
Media speculation is building around Zamora leaving Fulham in the January window, and the England international striker being unhappy at Craven Cottage. Fulham manager was quick to pour cold water on those rumors when he spoke to the media this week.
“I said to him a few weeks ago ‘do you love this club?’ and he said ‘yes, I love this club, I love this team’,” Jol told BBC Sport. “There is not one player that has told me he does not want to play for this squad.”
David Stockdale could start in goal for Fulham, as goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer suffered a spinal injury after a nasty fall during the Swansea defeat.
Defender David Wheater is suspended for Bolton, while Nigel Reo-Coker is struggling with a hamstring problem. Leading goal scorer Ivan Klasnic looks set to play after recovering from a knee injury.
