Tottenham Hotspur vs Queens Park Rangers Match Preview
Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their good form when they face London rivals Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
Tottenham are currently 6th in the Premier League table and will be looking to extend a six game unbeaten streak. QPR can move into the top half of the Premier League table with a win or draw, and beat Chelsea 1-0 last time out.
William Gallas and Steven Pienaar are injury doubts for Tottenham and will be assessed ahead of kickoff. Defender Michael Dawson is ruled out for Spurs along with injury absentee Ledley King.
England defender Dawson has visited a specialist this week and it is feared his Achilles injury could see him sidelined for several months.
Rafael van der Vaart will play for Tottenham, and the in-form Dutch playmaker has netted five goals in his last four Premier League games.
Defensive pair Danny Gabbidon and Armand Traore have returned from injury for QPR and will be pushing for selection. Anton Ferdinand will feature in the QPR backline, and will likely be happy to focus on football instead of his ongoing racism feud with John Terry.
Veteran striker Heidat Helguson will lead the attack for QPR and has scored in each of his last two games, including the winner against Chelsea last weekend.
