Liverpool vs Norwich City Match Preview
Fifth placed Liverpool will be looking to extend a three game unbeaten streak when they play host to Norwich City.
Liverpool currently sit only two points behind the Champions League qualifying spots, while the surprising Canaries are three points further back after winning three of their last four Premier League games.
Defensive duo Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger could return for Liverpool after playing the 1-0 midweek friendly defeat at Glasgow Rangers. Brazilian midfielder Lucas is suspended for the Reds after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Luis Suarez will play up front for Liverpool, and will be hoping for a good performance to draw attention away from his ugly racism row with Patrice Evra this week.
Striker Steve Morison is expected to be fit for Norwich, while defender Zak Whitbread is ruled out with injury. Grant Holt and Ritchie De Laet are injury doubts for Norwich, while Andrew Surman and Chris Martin will also be assessed ahead of kickoff.
