Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur Match Preview
Defending Champions Manchester United will play their first home game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.United opened the season with a 2-1 win at West Bromwich Albion, while Tottenham will be playing their first Premier League game of the season. Spurs did play in midweek and produced a 5-0 Europa League win over Scottish team Hearts.
United will be missing central defensive pairing Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic who are both injured. Phil Jones and Jonny Evans are the likely defensive pairing for United.
Luka Modric could return to the Tottenham midfield, while Wilson Palacios, Steven Pienaar and Jermaine Jenas are all ruled out.
