Uruguay vs Chile Match Preview
Uruguay vs Chile is going to be decisive for both teams. Fans will be hoping for this Copa America Group C match to be exciting as well.
Uruguay must bounce back before they get stunned by an early exit at the 2011 Copa America.
Well, whatever the reason, the Uruguayans “are not looking for excuses” as Luis Suarez insisted in the aftermath of their draw. The Chile match is the next thing on Uruguay’s minds now. It’s a battle they better not lose before the prospect of a humiliating early exit looks more like a reality.
But Oscar Tabarez’s men can find belief in their abilities. One may recall the 2010 FIFA World Cup as a reason to believe that Uruguay are quickly going to pick up. Indeed, La Celeste Olimpica had drawn their opening game against France but the rest of their campaign’s story proved to be different and much more dynamic.
What’s at stake for Chile, though, is not only the opportunity of throwing Uruguay into a real mess but to clinch tickets for the quarter-finals of the 2011 Copa America. But for those who might have instantly tipped Chile to punish Uruguay like they punished Mexico, one big reminder has to be considered:
