Bolivia vs Costa Rica Match Preview
Although it may be too early to tell, Costa Rica’s road in the 2011 Copa America seems to be very short. In fact, Bolivia stand an immense chance of ending the Costa Ricans’ hopes.

Costa Rica have been tipped to get into further troubles during the 2011 Copa America.
The 2011 Gold Cup rejects and Copa America invitees suffered a huge blow against Colombia on the first match-day of their campaign in Argentina. Now as if losing the red-carded Randall Brenes midway through the first half wasn’t enough, Costa Rica also conceded a lone goal to finish the night empty-handed. But 21-year-old goalkeeper Leonel Moreira is not throwing the towel just yet.
“We are all looking forward and now we have to have a good game against Bolivia,” said the youngster according to Terra US in the aftermath of this team’s 1-0 loss to Colombia whereas La Volpe gave his thoughts as well, declaring:
“We have to maintain order from now on during the next match, against Bolivia. We are going to work on the defensive aspect during 30 percent of our time and on the offensive during another 30 percent of our time for the match [against Bolivia].”
Before the tournament, the Bolivia vs Costa Rica fixture didn’t look that appealing. Following Bolivia’s wonder result against hosts Argentina, however, everyone is now curious to see if La Verde indeed have all it takes to become the 2011 Copa America’s surprise package.
As of now, Bolivia have a single point like the Albiceleste whereas Ricardo La Volpe’s Costa Rica are at the bottom of Group A. Will there be any revival for the CONCACAF nation or more disappointment?
