Houston Dynamo vs Los Angeles Galaxy Match Preview
The MLS Supporter’s Shield winning Los Angeles Galaxy will complete their regular season slate with a trip to face the Houston Dynamo.
Houston will be looking for a win to improve their seeding ahead of a midweek wildcard playoff game, while Los Angeles have already secured a bye into the MLS Cup Quarterfinals.
The Galaxy can set the all-time MLS record for points accumulated during the regular season with a win in Houston.
This game will also decide which player will lead the MLS in assists, with Dynamo playmaker Brad Davis and LA midfielder David Beckham currently tied for the league lead with 15 each.
Midfielder Cam Weaver has a hip injury and will be unable to play for the Dynamo.
Sean Alvarado and Bryan Jordan are sidelined with injury for LA, while Robbie Keane and Leonardo are also ruled out.
Beckham, Landon Donovan and Donovan Ricketts are injury doubts for LA, while Gregg Berhalter and Sean Franklin will also be assessed ahead of kickoff.
