Chicago Fire vs New England Revolution Match Preview
The Chicago Fire will play host to the New England Revolution with both teams desperate for a win to stay in the playoff race.
The Fire are nine points outside of the wildcard playoff spots and will be looking for their third straight win. The Revolution are three points further back and could be mathematically eliminated from the playoff race with a defeat.
Gabriel Ferrari and Steven Kinney are out injured for Chicago, while Cory Gibbs is suspended. Dominic Oduro will lead the Fire attack, and netted his 10th goal of the season in last weekend’s 3-2 win over Chivas USA.
Rajko Lekic (ankle) and Stephen McCarthy (shoulder) are sidelined with injury for the Revolution. Sainey Nyassi and A.J. Soares are injury doubts for New England and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
