FC Dallas vs Los Angeles Galaxy Match Preview
FC Dallas will play host to the Western Conference leading Los Angeles Galaxy with both teams coming off a victory last weekend.
Dallas won 2-1 at the Vancouver Whitecaps last Saturday, while the Galaxy produced a convincing 3-0 win over the Portland Timbers.
Dallas will be without their star playmaker and reigning MLS MVP David Ferreira, the midfielder suffered a broken ankle at Vancouver that will see him sidelined for several months. Eric Avila is the likely replacement for Ferreira, and the California native came off the bench to score the winning goal against the Whitecaps.
Defensive pair Kyle Davies and Edson Edward are also sidelined for the Hoops with ankle and knee injuries respectively.
Gregg Berhalter, Adam Cristman and Leonardo are all ruled out with injury for the Galaxy, while Miguel Lopez is listed as questionable with a knee injury.
Star midfielder David Beckham will play for LA despite flying halfway around the world over the weekend to attend the Royal Wedding in England. Chad Barrett and Landon Donovan will both feature in the Galaxy attack, and the in-form pair have each recorded two goals and one assist in their last two games.
