Houston Dynamo vs DC United Match Preview
The Houston Dynamo will be looking to extend a five game unbeaten streak when they play host to D.C. United on Friday night.
Houston’s good form has moved them up to third on the Eastern Conference standings, while United are in sixth and looking to rebound from last week’s 4-0 defeat at the hands of the New York Red Bulls.
Calen Carr is ruled out due to concussion for Houston, while fellow striker Brian Ching is questionable with a rib injury. Jermaine Taylor and Francisco Navas Cobo are listed as questionable for the Dynamo.
Jamaican international Je-Vaughn Watson could make his first start for the Dynamo after coming off the bench in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at the Chicago Fire.
Junior Carreiro, Steve Cronin and Devon McTavish are all ruled out with injury for United, while Jed Zayner is questionable with a hamstring strain.
Branko Boskovic could be handed start by United coach Ben Olsen, Boskovic came off the bench and twice hit the woodwork during the defeat to New York.
