Valencia vs Logrones CF Match Preview
It's been over four weeks since Valencia lastly celebrated a victory in the Primera Division. After a brilliant start, Unai Emery's Ches have gone through a disappointing month that's left them far too behind on Liga's chase, but a sound victory over Logroñes two weeks ago earned them half a ticket for the next round of this competition.
Valencia goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez tried to cool the nerves of Bats' followers, desperate to enjoy a new victory as soon as possible. "We have to lift our head. We have the cup, and then our next league match. We must continue and not let our heads drop.” said the 23-years old shot-stopper.
He'll be making room for Vicente Guaita once again as Emery does not want to compromise his recovery with an early calling.
This game might be nothing but a formality to secure qualification for Valencia, but not for Logroñes who'll be looking forward to revert the situation at the Mestalla. Logroñes played a decent game during the first half of the first leg game but couldn't keep up with Valencia pace, who score three goals in the last 45 minutes.
An early goal might give the visitors the needed confidence to make their dreams come true. Will they have anything to do against Valencia superiority?
