Ergotelis Heraklion vs Kerkyra Match Preview
Ergotelis will hope to pull themselves out of the relegation zone Sunday with success against Kerkyra. The Cretan club need to stop leaking goals if they are to begin their drive out of the drop zone as they have conceded a league worst 19 goals thus far. Nikos Karageorgiou’s team did pick up a valuable point against Iraklis in Thessaloniki and have now gone two matches without defeat. A win over Kerkyra would solidify their good form.
Kerkyra returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Panionios last weekend. It has been a strange season for the promoted club as they began the campaign extremely well and resided in 5th place for quite a few weeks. A slump through October and November dropped the team down near the relegation zone and the jury is still out as to whether they have consistency to stay in the Super League.
