Chievo Verona vs Catania Match Preview
Catania had a fantastic season last year under the guidance of controversial coach Sinisa Mihajlovic. They certainly have the personnel to do well this year: they have added Argentinian winger Alejandro Gomez to their ranks while Lopez should still give them reliability in attack. Under new coach Marco Giampolo, Catania should line up with a 4-4-2; Mascara and Lopez will form the attack.
Chievo are now being led by Stefano Pioli and will look again to Sergio Pellissier for magic up front. Chievo were touted as tiny upstarts that would overshadow city rivals Verona, but since arriving on the scene of Serie A, they have had mediocre outings.
This game should end in a 2-1 Catania victory.

It took until the 83rd minute, but Chievo ran out 2-1 winners against Catania. A Sergio Pellissier penalty seven minutes from time was the difference between the two teams, even if the penalty itself was debatable. Pellissier seemd to have been fouled outside the box.
Moscardelli had given Chievo the lead in the 14th minute, only to see Ricchiutti make it 1-1. It was a fairly evenly contested encounter, but as with other games this weekend in Serie A, there were doubts surrounding the quality of the refereeing.
