Villarreal vs Real Madrid Match Preview

Real Madrid has proven its deadly efficiency in the last two games away, defeating Sevilla and Valencia consecutively while scoring twelve goals (six per game). Jose Mourinho recovers Kaka, Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos.

Not everything is a bed of roses for Jose Mourinho. Sami Khedira and Fernando Gago are struggling with injuries and won't be able to perform, while Lass Diarra is banned as he received his fifth yellow card n the last clash. Pedro Leon and Sergio Canales, on the other hand, have been left out of the match day squad.

Cristiano Ronaldo is only one goal away from joining Hugo Sanchez and Zarra as La Liga's top scorers of all times, with 38 games in a season. The Portuguese international is going through an excellent moment, as he's shown in the last two Liga games, scoring seven goals.

Garrido recovers goalkeeper Juan Carlos, who missed the last game against Almeria due to a gastrointestinal complication. Giuseppe Rossi, Nilmar, Borja Valero and Santiago Cazorla will lead the attack against the Merengue defense, one of the strongest ones in the league.

"We're proud of what we've achieved so far this season. We thought it was going to be a transitional season, with many players from the young squad joining the team, but we've managed to claim our place among Spain's Best Four" said Garrido before the match.

French international Karim Benzema is given another opportunity in the starting eleven, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria on the attack. Can Mourinho's Merengues return home victorious from Villarreal?
