Borussia M'gladbach vs VfL Wolfsburg Match Preview
Gladbach gave way a 2-0 lead in Gelsenkirchen last week and ultimately drew against Schalke 2-2. Coach Michael Frontzeck was perhaps relived to see his side picking up a point after drubbings against Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Wolfsburg is on fire after their switch to a 4-4-2 formation. A Grafite double saw them beat Freiburg 2-1. Wolfsburg has won three matches in a row and will be looking for a fourth victory against Gladbach.
A lot of this match will depend on Gladbach’s performance as the team has been anything but consistent and lies in the relegation play-off spot. Also, Wolfsburg’s defending hasn’t been great and against a side like Gladbach, the defence has to be steady.
