Huracán vs Argentinos Juniors Match Preview
One of this week's finals will face the recent and unexpected leader of the tournament Argentinos against Chulo Rivoira's Globes, flying high in this competition after a shameful beginning, obtaining 26 points and securing the ninth position. Having taken down Boca Juniors during the last week the Quemeros are confident Argentinos will not celebrate a title on their own ground, for Parque Patricios has been a stronghold for Huracan during the whole competition, netting most of their points in their own ground and losing a single match in the competition (against Tigre during the first half of the tournament). Hector Rivoira will have to come up with a way to stop Argentinos' ball flow, for their creativity can find its way through Globos' defense if Huracan's back line is caught unaware.
Claudio Borghi is touching the sky bare-handed, for his Red Devils have finally claimed the top of the Clausura last Sunday. Argentinos depends only on itself to lift this year's title, and considering the brilliant and constant performance of the Bichitos during the last weeks the top will be more than likely dyed in red by Monday. Borghi kept a classic formation in every match in this competition and it has paid off brilliantly for the Paternal squad, having suffered only two defeats in the whole competition. Last week against Independientes Argentinos' nerves were tested and the result is evident; Being down 3-1 Argentinos finally claimed a victory 4 to 3 to take advantage of Estudiantes' misstep and now against Huracan they need to prove who can fly the highest. Nicolas Pavlovich, Santiago Raymonda and Nicolas Peric will be unable to perform, leaving their place in the starting squad to Facundo Coria, Ismael Sosa and Luis Ojeda, respectively. This will be the most important match in the week, will Argentinos be able to return home with three points and a title?
