Rosario Central vs Newell's Old Boys Match Preview
The second derby of this week will have the additional flavor of Rosario Central's critical Relegation present, as the Canallas can be sank in the Relegation sand if Gimnasia and Racing are able to obtain three points in this week, and with only a few points in play the pressure at the Gigante de Arroyito can explode on their faces. Team's coach Luis Madelon will be missing two key players in both the defensive and the offensive; Diego Braghieri received a huge blow on its head during last week's match and is experiencing a minor trauma on its skulls, while Luciano Figueroa has not been able to perform in more than a month due to a muscular distension, even though he might be called to the bench and be on the fields at least for the last minutes as the manager is dreaming with recovering one of its offensive aces before the season is over. The 19th position is worrying team's followers and players, and a victory against an eternal rival will be a medicine for this dark present.
Newell's has been rising during the last weeks and this match will be utterly important for the Leprosos, as they know they can give the deadly blow that takes Rosario Central to the bottom of the Relegation table. Roberto Sensini has been experiencing some changes in the formation, for Jorge Achucarro and Lucas Bernardi have not been physically fit and it is not known if they'll be able to perform for the Derby. But karmic balance is working properly in Santa Fe, for Sensini will be able to count with Leonel Vangion and Juan Manuel Insaurralde's return to the squad having faced a one week suspension. Team's legendary striker Joaquin Boghossian will have to make this match a personal deal, for given he's able to break Central's defense he can recover his fan's confidence in a moment, thus granting him the powers needed for the Lepra to join the top before it's too late.
