Rosario Central vs San Lorenzo Match Preview
Rosario Central will receive San Lorenzo at the bottom of the positions table, still unable to obtain a victory during the whole season. Upon this match Ariel Cuffaro Russo's future will be known, as team's directive are not completely happy with team's performance. Even the name of Leonardo Madelón was heard as a possible candidate to become Canalla's coach, but it'll all be known upon this Sunday match. Lucho Figueroa recognized last week was a major setback for him, as he's feeling once again the right leg pain that's been keeping him off the fields for the first weeks in the tournament, though it is yet uncertain whether he'll be able to play against the Cuervos or not.
Without Pipi Romagnoli (due to a problem in his right feet) Cholo Simeone will have to find a new driver to reduce the spaces of their opponents to lead the ball towards their strikers. Sebastian Bordagaray has firmly established as an offensive alternative for the Cuervos, and with Juan Manuel Torres back on the fields, the pieces are falling into their right place for Simeone this week. A defeat could take San Lorenzo to the 18th position, so Cholo's continuity with the team will be jeopardized upon a loss. The cuervos have only obtained a victory while playing home, but they need to change their fate fast not to be doomed to the bottom.
