Team NewsOriol Romeu is set to be out for Chelsea until after the end of the current season. Gary Cahill was absent in midweek due to illness and is doubtful for this one. Cesar Azpilicueta is doubtful as he missed the midweek FA Cup tie with injury. Zoltan Gera and George Thorne are out for West Brom. Goran Popov is suspended while Romelu Lukaku is ineligible.
Rafa Benitez was not a happy man despite his side’s victory over Middlesbrough in midweek. The fans had finally gotten on his last nerve as had Roman Abramovich. He reminded everyone that that he is the one who makes the decisions at Chelsea and that he will leave at the end of the season.
Chelsea has played well enough to stay in the top four in the Premier League so far. They now have to start looking over their shoulders at onrushing Arsenal. West Brom will not be easy to defeat though. They have beaten Chelsea in both their last two meetings and will look beat them again.
