Both the player and the club could write their names in history should the King Abdullah Sports City tie go according to plan.

On Wednesday, the Supercoppa Italiana champion will be crowned. Juventus and AC Milan, two of the biggest names in Italian football, will battle it out for the trophy.

These two sides will lock horns at the King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia, as summer signing Cristiano Ronaldo goes in search of his first silverware since joining the Bianconeri. However, it's his team-mate Paulo Dybala that could write his name in history in this game.

The Argentina attacker is on the edge of achieving a record. With three goals in three appearances under his belt in this competition, one more strike will see him become the Supercoppa Italiana's all-time leading goalscorer.

Currently, the former Palermo sensation is tied with Juventus and AC Milan icons Alessandro Del Piero and Andriy Shevchenko as well as Samuel Eto'o and Carlos Tevez. However, Dybala, who scored a brace in his last outing in this competition, is the only man on this list that remains in the Italian top-flight and could thus grab this honor for his own.

Whether he will start is unknown, as Allegri has several options in attack. The Italian boss will field the best lineup to achieve the win, as a victory would earn the Old Lady a record of their own.

In this competition, the Serie A champion is tied with the Rossoneri for most number of titles at seven. However, Juventus could move clear of their Milan rival should they triumph. It should be noted that the San Siro side's last victory in this competition came against Allegri's men, which means Cristiano and Co. musn't take their opponent lightly.
