The Old Ladies are considering the possibility of selling one of their key midfielders.

Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic has been put up for sale by Juventus, according to Yahoo Sport. The 28-year-old midfielder despite being an integral member of the Turin side may be allowed to leave should a substantial offer arrive for his signature.

Juventus, following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in a mega deal, is aiming to balance its books and that means sanctioning the sales of some key players. Aside Pjanic, Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain are among the players said to be the verge of securing moves away - Chelsea being their most likely destination.

The former AS Roma man is reportedly priced at €80m (£71.5m) and both Barcelona and Mancester City are believed to be monitoring te situation. The latter has shown peculiar interest and may swoop in for the deadballl specialist should he indeed be available. This is as a result of the Etihad outfit losing in on the signing of Napoli's Jorginho who joined Chelsea earlier in this summer.

Barca, on the other hand, is looking to fortify its midfield as well following the departure of Andres Iniesta and Paulinho. The Catalans have already signed Arthur from Gremio and have identified Miralem Pjanic as the other replacement.
