With the World Cup coming to an end, football clubs are taking center-stage once again. The current La Liga champions are no exception, and given their transfer activity this summer, they are keen on letting go a couple of their players.
One of those teams willing to "help" them out is Everton, who's new coach Marco Silva has named a couple of their outcasts at the top of his wishlist. Those players are Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne.
Both players struggled to get playing time under coach Ernesto Valverde last season. Digne only played 17 games in all comps for Los Blaugranas, with his contribution to Barcelona's La Liga and Copa del Rey titles being only testimonial.
Mina's case is even worse, as he was signed away from Palmeiras during the winter transfer window. Mina was limited to six games, two of those as a substitute. Following his impressive performance in the World Cup for Colombia, there will be no shortage of bids to sign the talented Colombian, but sending both players to Goodison Park could help Barcelona's payday to be even better than initially expected.
Reports from Catalunya suggest that Barcelona is not interested in keeping Digne around. Mina's case is different, as coach Valverde asked that the Colombian was released only on loan, but since Los Blaugranas completed Clement Lenglet's transfer today, the option to let Mina leave for good is open.
