The tournament may have started not too long ago, but the World Cup knockout stage is now upon us. With the round of 16 beginning on Saturday, we have all the match-ups defined here.

Group E (Updated)

Brazil advance after beating Serbia 0-2 and topping the group with 7 points. Meanwhile, Switzerland advanced with second place finish in Group E with 5 points after managing a 2-2 draw with Costa Rica.

Group F (Updated)

Mexico and Sweden advance. Korea Republic send Germany packing with a resilient performance and a 2-0 result. El Tri can thank the South Koreans for saving their World Cup aspirations as the Mexicans fell flat to a tactifully effective Sweden. 

Group G (Updated)

England vs Belgium played to a 0-1 result, giving Belgium the top of the table in Group G. Both teams advance in 1st and 2nd respectively. England will play Colombia and Belgium will play Japan.

Group H (Updated)

Poland, already eliminated and playing only for pride managed to beat Japan 1-0. Colombia was victorious over Senegal 0-1, knocking out the last African nation in the World Cup and topping Group H. Based on FIFA Fair Play Points rules (goal differential and disciplinary record) Japan secure second place in the group ahead of Senegal.
