Los Canaleros finally had a shot on target ending up in the net!

It was a sight to behold when Panama, for the first time in the country's history, scored a goal at the FIFA World Cup. Although the Central Americans may be going out of Russia with a colossal goal deficit, a huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders.

After falling to a 3-0 defeat against Belgium in their opening group game, of Hernan Dario Gomez's side once again found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreline against England. This time, they picked up the ball six times from their net in a demolishing exercise led by hat-trick hero Harry Kane, John Stone, and Jesse Lingard.

The Three Lions' however failed to keep a clean sheet for the second time at this year's World Cup with Felipe Baloy scoring a 78th minute consolation goal to attract pure jubilation from his compatriots. With Panama only making their debut on the world stage this year, the 37-year-old defender goes down in history as the first man to score the country's first-ever World Cup goal.

The skipper of the side also became the third oldest scorer at the competition behind Gunnar Green (37 years and 236 days) and Roger Milla (42 years).
