Arguably, Chelsea will have one eye on their must-win Champions League fixture with Barcelona next week, but first up is this match with Crystal Palace. The Blues lost the reverse fixture earlier this season, and should they fail to win here, they might as well kiss their chances at making it into next season's Champions League good-bye.
Currently, the Blues find themselves well out of the title race, and are five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham after losing four out of their last five Premier League fixtures. Antonio Conte was slammed for his approach during the team's last game, which saw them lose 1-0 to Manchester City, but the Italian has defended his tactics given how Pep Guardiola's side have largely made mincemeat of most of the other Premier League sides so far this term.
N'Golo Kante, who fainted last week and did not feature against City, could make his return, along with Tiemoue Bakayoko, but both David Luiz and Ross Barkley are still out. As for Crystal Palace, who sit in 18th spot, they'll be sweating on the fitness of key striker Wilfried Zaha, who will have to pass a late fitness test, as well as Mamadou Sakho, but Timothy Fosu-Mensah will be able to feature here after not being able to take part during the team's recent defeat to Manchester United (as the Red Devils are his parent club).
