The game between the Bianconeri and La Dea was called off after heavy snow masked the playing surface in Turin.

It had been snowing for the most part of the day in Turin but the magnitude of the fall became stronger before both clubs could make way onto the pitch for the warm-up session. The kick-off for the match was initially delayed in the hope of conditions improving.

However, the verdict of the game being putt off was made following a pitch inspection by the game's officials. Prior to the decision Juve’s director, Beppe Marotta, emphasized on the need to consider the players' well-being while playing in such conditions in an interview with Mediaset Premium

“It’s possible to play in these conditions, but would not be a spectacle worthy of the top flight.

“There is also the issue we have to take into consideration of potential harm to the players.”

“The conditions are clear to all. It would certainly change the spectacle on show, not to mention potential danger for the players,

“We are prepared for any eventuality. Now we’ll await the referee’s pitch inspection and see if there’s a delay or a postponement."

The Italian FA is yet to schedule a new date for the match to be played.
