Round 26 of the English Premier League is upon us, with several exciting games set to be played this weekend. The Manchester Derby scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to United’s participation in the League Cup final that very same day, but there are exciting fixtures nonetheless.
Leicester face a tricky test on Monday when they host Liverpool. It has been a tough year so far for last season’s Premier League winners, as they currently sit a point adrift the relegation zone. This game will be more difficult given the recent occurrence at the King Power Stadium.
On Thursday, the Foxes announced their decision to sack Claudio Ranieri as manager only nine months after he led them to the title. The Italian’s assistant will be interim boss until a new manager is named.
League leaders Chelsea host Swansea on Saturday. The Swans are currently under resurgence under new boss Paul Clement. Victory at Stamford Bridge for the travelers would be a huge confidence-booster, but Antonio Conte’s men are unbeatable right now.
Arsenal won’t be in action, as their game with Southampton was also pushed back due to the League Cup final. However, north London rival Tottenham will take to the field in a clash with Stoke.
