Kane's injury has forced Daniel Levy's hand in the ongoing transfer window, and the first rumor links Tottenham with a player from the Catalan club

Harry Kane's injury has already sparked rumors about a possible deal involving wingers or strikers to be signed by Tottenham, and if Barcelona was thinking to boost their squad with Fernando Llorente, the Englishman's absence for the next couple of months has allegedly raised interest from Spurs to try and lure one Blaugrana footballer to North London.

A report published by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo hints that Spurs' execs are interested in signing wantaway wingman Malcom, a player who has been frequently snubbed by Ernesto Valverde. The footballer would be used to boost Spurs' squad due to Kane's injury and Son Heung-Min's unavailability after being called up by South Korea to play in the Asian Cup.

The newspaper states that Barça bosses had allegedly started negotiations to lure Fernando Llorente to Camp Nou as a backup striker for Luis Suárez, but their interest has been fended off due to Kane's injury. Now, the tables have turned and Tottenham is now interested in the Brazilian forward.

Malcom has only played ten games for Barcelona in all comps, scoring just two goals for the Blaugrana side. It is yet to be seen if Tottenham can convince to join them for the remainder of the season, since it's been said that Malcom has no interest in leaving the club for good.
