Mexico's hero against Germany has been a transfer target for numerous European teams, and now, the Spanish giants are interested in his services.

Playing in a FIFA World Cup might change your life, and this Mexican wingman may be a good example.

PSV's Hirving Lozano, one of Mexico's best men against Germany last Sunday, is one of El Tri's rising stars. Before the tournament's beginning, Lozano had a few fans in European football, such as Manchester City and Juventus, and while there were reports about an interest from the English and Italian sides, the player's father has confirmed that Barcelona have started inquiries to sign him.

Speaking to ESPN, Lozano's dad admitted that this deal might materialize following the end of the World Cup.

"There have been contacts, but nothing concrete. I think that once the World Cup ends, he will be able to determine whether he stays at PSV or if he chooses to continue playing for another team," Lozano's father stated.

Nicknamed "Chucky", Lozano was key to PSV's successful season in the Dutch Eredivisie. The player had also been linked with a move to Everton, given that the Toffees Sporting Director, Marcel Brands, was the man behind his transfer to the Dutch side.
