One of the major talking points about the UEFA Champions League draw came when Liverpool and Manchester City were paired up against each other, and a reaction by Jürgen Klopp was certainly expected.
Speaking in his pre-match presser, Klopp hinted that the Citizens are worried about facing them in the competition, basing his claims on what he saw during the draw.
I don't think they wanted to face Liverpool before the draw took place, and that shows how powerful we can be. I saw Begiristain's face after the draw, and it wasn't like the one you'd have on Christmas," Klopp said, referring to the reaction of Man City's sporting director.

The German boss carried on talking about what's next for the team, and even hinted that there are some fans from other English side quite happy to see both EPL sides locking horns.
"It went on as expected, I wasn't hoping to face any team in particular. I'd said before that I found it appealing to face a team from your country in the Champions League. I think this UCL tie is a dream, but for Manchester United fans," Klopp stated while laughing.
Liverpool fans will have to be cautious when they make a forecast of what will go down in this game, since Manchester City dominated Liverpool at the Etihad (5-0). Nevertheless, after handing the Citizens their only loss in the Premier League, it seems that all bets are off.
