Real Madrid finally won their first home game of the season, and while at it, they managed to set a league record.
A couple of goals by Isco Alarcón saw Los Blancos climb to La Liga's 5th spot, two points behind second-placed Sevilla. Nevertheless, Barcelona is still seven points ahead of Zidane's crew before the International Break.

Los Blancos will return to action on October 14 when they visit Getafe, hoping to bounce back in La Liga before it's too late for them to retain their title.
