The Uruguayan striker was forced to limp on the pitch during the final minutes of Wednesday's Clásico since all substitutions were used previously.

Barcelona's attacking unit will go down from "MSN" to just "M" in less than a month, as Luis Suárez will not be available to play for the next four to five weeks.

The Uruguayan striker picked up an injury during the clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday in a tight battle to win the ball away from Keylor Navas. Suárez accidentally stepped on Navas' leg, which made him fail to secure a safe landing. Since that moment, Barcelona's No. 9 repeatedly limped while running on the pitch, but he had to continue playing as all substitutions had been used.

The Uruguayan Football Association issued a press release on Twitter stating that Suárez won't be around to face Argentina and Paraguay in the CONMEBOL WC Qualifiers set to take place on August 31 and September 5th. According to Los Charrúas, Luis Suárez will be out for the next four to five weeks.

FC Barcelona also provided a report on Suárez's injury, adding that the player suffered a tear in the posterior articular capsule of his right knee. The player will have to watch his team-mates from the stands while they play against Betis, Alavés, Espanyol and possibly, the game against Getafe.

The same report also states that Gerard Pique left Wednesday's Clásico with a groin strain, which makes him a doubt for Sunday's clash against Betis.
