Los Blancos have struggled with a number of injuries throughout the season, but two squad members may be ready to play this weekend.

Real Madrid's coach was given his share of good news today, as two players have been scratched off the team's long injury list ahead of a crunch tie against Sevilla.

Santiago Solari will be able to have Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois around for the game against Los Hispalenses, which will determine which team ends the weekend in third place of the Spanish top flight. Courtois has shown good form in his first season with Los Blancos, while Benzema is the team's top scorer with seven goals in La Liga.

The striker was spotted with a protective bandage on his right hand after picking up a fracture. He is expected to undergo surgery to correct that problem once the game against Sevilla is played.

In fact, both footballers were involved in a training drill earlier today, where Benzema scored a goal against the Belgian shot-stopper.

Unfortunately for Los Blancos' boss, the team will still have to deal with a massive number of injury absences. Marcos Llorente, Toni Kroos, Mariano and Jesús Vallejo are long-term absentees for the Spanish giants, while Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio may still make it in time to play Saturday's game.
