A quick and attractive passing move resulted in the Brazilian scoring Real Madrid’s second goal in their La Liga game against Leganes.

Los Blancos endured a rough start after being on the receiving end of the game’s opener scored by Leganes’ Unai Bustinza in the first six minutes. The visitors regrouped and reacted quickly, with Lucas Vasquez combining with Casemiro to get the game’s leveler five minutes later.

The duo was at it again in the 29th minute but with reversed roles this time around. Lucas Vasquez delivered the final ball to Casemiro to be slotted home after a well-worked passing move by the Madrid players in Leganes’ half.

The former’s involvement means that he is now the second player in the whole Real Madrid set-up to have played a more direct role in all the goals scored in 2018. Vazquez has racked up four goals and six assists in all competitions since the beginning of the year. Only the talsimanic Cristiano Ronaldo has more, with the Portuguese star boasting 10 goals and two assists.
