Monday’s clash between Wigan and Man City in the FA Cup was an exciting game, but things quickly turned ugly after the final whistle. Fans, journalists, and pundits alike weighed in with their opinions on whether Kun should be banned for his action. Many brought up previous altercations between players and fans which resulted in suspensions, arguing that Aguero should be treated similarly.
Others felt that the 29-year-old had the right to defend himself from the pitch invader, as he appeared to be a targeting the former Atletico forward. One journalist even claimed that the Argentine was spat at, leading to his outburst.

Aguero “punch” is a push. He also has every right to push away the individual who gets into his face (and should not be on the pitch) goading him at the end of a game he has lost.
