http://sports.sympatico.msn.ca/Soccer/WorldCup/
It’s so cool, do you have any idea how many games I watched there??? (one LOL)
It seems like more and more games are coming on line, some one else post another site but you have to pay for it.
Let me know what you guys think and which site it better.

the place to go is:
http://www5.pplive.com/english/
You download the pplive program (free) and select a tv station.
I saw Espanyol v Real Madrid last Sunday from a chinese tv station, all free and live...
No need to pay anything...

If you want you can go to this address and they usually show the link to the games. You might need other plug-ins to watch certain games:
http://www.live-foot.com/matchs
Tomorrow's game will by available with the PPstream plug-in.
On the Guangdong channel.
Hope this helps!

Do not try this at all:
http://www.watchfootball.tv
Quality sucks, 99% of the channels are none English. It buffers every 20 seconds or less.
Plus you can get all these channels for free why pay 10.00 CND.

Post subject: Streams for Greeks outside of Greece
To begin with no advertsment is intended by this thread so read my lines very carefully.I was searching over the last few days, like a maniac, a way to watch my favorite team game Panathinaikos against Barcelona. You will probably wonder what would be the benefit of it knowing after that we were hammered by 5 to nil goals. To the main subject: Here where I live in the US, a friend sent me a link the other day which was showing streams concerning greek football. Living outside of Greece for so many years, it made it so hard on me to believe. Anyway I tried this site that he gave to me and I feel in a way obligated to help compatriots who have no other means of watchinga football or a basketball game concerning the greek teams
The website's url is http://www.livegreekevents.com and after using it this last wednesday in order to watch Barca-Panathinaikos, I have to make the following comments:
PROS
1) The webiste really gives the link in order to watch the game. It is not a trap as I was afraid at first, wondering whether I am going to lose my money or not. I was extremely precautious in the beginning to be honest
2) The stream was flawless, and its bitrate image analysis was at 200Kbs, which is reasonable enough to watch the ball moving on the field.
3) I had the link to the game an hour earlier, which allowed me to test my link.
4) I amanged to watch another game for Free after that and a show concerning the rest champions league matches for that particular day. The stream did not interrupt for 5-6 consecutive hours, until my eyes started blowing, and stars were orbiting around my head
Probable? CONS
1) In that case where many users find this out I am curious to know whether they will be able to support them all, especially when knowing the high demand of greek sports from many greek compatriots outside of Greece.
2) The basis of their technology is P2P as they are using a P2P software that they provide through their website. It would be interesting to know if the software has any bugs. Haven't noticed any so far.
3) If someone is behind a router or a restrictive firewall and the ports that he cannot have access to are closed, then as they say, these people may not be able to watch the game. This mostly affects, from my understanding students who live in university halls, or try to connect through university networks.
4) The price for a CL game is $10 ($5 for Greek league, I do not care as I have Satellite TV for that one). It probably sonds a bit expensive to some, especially to some fellow greek student as I used to be one too nce upon a time. Nevertheless, knowing that other private pubs which may or may not show these games, charge 20 or 30 bucks per head, not to add the smoke and the crowd pushing you from all sides, the price overall sounds to me reasonable, as I can share it with friend if I need to and watch the games together at home.
I hope I helped you, as I am a new member in this Forum
P.S. Sometimes they provide free streams through their websit too. I've also sent them an e-mail and they stream matches on request!!

This is where I get the schedule of games on live streams.
You can browse this site and find the different downloads you'll need to see the games. Good luck.
