About German soccer on television the best station I believe is Gol TV which is now available in Canada. This channel shows the Friday afternoon game as well as a couple on Saturday and Sunday. They show the top teams so it is VERY good. Fox Sports World Canada might show a few games as well, but the quality of matches is not as good. As far as national games go this part gets a little tricky. I do however know that the Germany - Ireland qualifying match will be shown on ITVN Setanta sports this weekend on tape delay , however, I am quite sure that if you did order ITVN you could then have access to all German or atleast most German national games through there pay-per-view option.
Regarding watching matches that stream over the internet there are many Chinese channels that you can access such as PPStream, TVant, PPlive, etc...through these channels you can generally access bundesliga and possibly also national games. Your very best bet however is GOLTV and ITVN by far! Hope this is helpful.

Well , first of all you have to be patient.
I live in B.C to and for now i have no Chance to watch any German soccer on TV. But not for long.

1) Gol TV Canada. At least 2 Bundesliga games live.
For now only available in Ontario on Rogers cable.
The good news is, it will be available soon ( i hope) on Bell Expressvu, which of course is a Satellite Provider.

2) Prosiebensat.1welt. a new german entertainment channel .
also available only on Rogers ( pay per view channel)
shows 3 games live, plus a kind of a Sportschau, in german,
in deutscher Sprache. They also have the right for the next 3 years. Now , wenn will it be available in the rest of Canada?
Nobody knows. If you ask Prosieben, they tell you soon,but....

3)Fox Sport Canada. Sometimes, if you lucky they show some german stuff. My Opinion about Fox. Garbage, if you a German Soccer fan.

If i missed anything else, please let me know. i am starving for german soccer

Cheers

Just to let you know, you can get DW channel or watch it for free on line at : http://www.dw-world.de/dw/0,,266,00.html

They show Bundesliga Kick off before the weekend and have many highlights, as Fox Sports World Canada will not have any German Highlights (so far), they don’t even show the goal on their news.

GOLTV is the best, 3 live games, Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus 2 delay games on Saturdays and Sundays. We never had this coverage before.
