Post subject: Recording games on ITVN
Like all of you, i want to get this box so i can see the MUFC games. Does anyone know if you can record games when using this ITVN box?

I don't think the ITVN box will allow you to do that. It's essentially a signal decoder / authentication box setup. If you'd like to record, you'll need tivo, or a dvd / hd recorder.

Just use a VCR or DVD recorder like you do with regular TV. Make sure your reciever is on, you can even turn off the TV if you are not home.

As an informal announcement, we’re going to add a 24-hour VOD service to Setanta Sports. This means two things; (a) you no longer have to rely on a DVR to record games, you’ll simply be able to select from a listing of choices and (b) this will also allow you to view games during non-congested hours. We’ve been working on this feature for a few weeks and it should be ready by early October.
