Post Post subject: ITVN and Setanta
I am interested in the ITVN, but I am apprehensive to subscribe to yet another channel, which doesn’t offer the whole shebang. If Sporstnet and Fox Sports World can’t get all my Man U games, why am I subscribing to them…

1. Is Setanta playing all the Man U games, as part of the subscription fee, not any PPV?
2. What does Setanta show in terms of MUTV?
3. Is the channel identical to the Direct TV line up EPL games etc.?
4. I have Basic Bell DSL is that enough to run the ITVN box?

I have already missed the first three games, which is really ticking me off, why is Setanta hogging all the games.

I basically looking for what people have though of their ITVN boxes so far…

Has any one heard of http://www.watch-football.tv/?

Thanks

Post Post subject: MUTV on Setanta
#1 - Setanta has prioity selection on broadcasting ManU games and bassically any matches they choose to show over all other networks this year. If you look at the broadcast schedules so far, you'll notice that FSWC and Sportsnet have yet to show a ManU match, whereas Setanta has shown all ManU matches. So your best bet to watch ManU is to tune into Setanta, the matches are not PPV when it comes to EPL. They are not hogging, but have secured the rights over other bidders. This is called business in the broadcast world.

#2 - Setanta covers MUTV better than anyone else with anywhere from 6-10 slots per week.
#3 - Yes.
#4 - No. For best results, you'll need broadband.. I'd suggest 3.0mb or higher.

Last point. BEWARE of any offer for Lifetime access for $9.99. It if sounds too good to be true, then it is.

Post Post subject: Live Footy Heaven!!
Hello All,

I know how you all feel as the new footy seasons are beginning. Being a massive MU supporter from Canada I was on the verge of a breakdown when I thought I wasn't going to see any United matches this season. I have absolutely had it with Setanta and their shenanigans. Soooo after a few days of hacking around on the net I've come up with some links that I think will put everyone's minds at ease. The quality of some of the streams is not necessarily the best but, hey, at least you're WATCHING the match. Oh yeah, and it's all FREE!!!!!!! Enjoy.

http://www.footballstreaming.info/site1/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2&Itemid=25 - This is Football Streaming Info. The homepage shows the upcoming matches but you can go into the forums and look for matches for specific leagues. Just sign up, it's free. Make sure you d/l the 'TVAnts' player it has about 100 streams (not all sports) that are pretty reliable. When you go into the forums it will tell you what channel the match is on and what player you need to watch it. If you have 'TVAnts' 'SopCast' & 'TVU Player' you should be able to get just about everthing.

http://www.espnstar.com/tvtimes/tvtimes_index.jsp - This will give you schedule info for ESPN China and ESPN Philippines.

http://www.asiaplate.com/live.today.htm - This is a good site too. Gives you daily updates on streaming matches. Similar to FSi.

http://www.goal.tv/goaltv/en/index.jsp - Lots of footy here. Plus MUTV!! You can find these streams in the 'TVAnts' player channels.

P.S. I have already posted this in another forum & since then I have seen all 3 Man Utd matches LIVE! and not bad quality to boot....Hello, Hello we are the Busby Boys...

Post Post subject: Saw you guys were talking about ITVN...
Sup fellas. I just got ITVN's service about 3 weeks ago and all I can say is thank God I don't have to wait to torrent and watch games anymore. I have a 5MB cable line so there is zero buffering even at the highest bit-rate. The picture is great and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision.

Now, I'm a Gunner through and through but I'm feeling a bit of good will today. My friend gave me a code for free shipping (should still work) and I'll share it with you guys if you promise to roll over for us in a few weeks Wink

I am no longer experiencing buffering, since the last s/w upgrade last week. I rate the picture quality on 1000 stream as fair. Not for those with big screens hdtvs! I'm more than pleased with my 27" sony Smile

if you want free shipping, use my promotional code and pass it on:
