GOLTV announces carriage with SaskTel and partnership with Saskatchewan Soccer Association
TORONTO – GOLTV Canada announced today a carriage deal for the network with SaskTel. GOLTV is available on channel 160 to (insert digital subscribers in Saskatchewan?). The launch of GOLTV coincides with a grassroots partnership with the Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA).

GOLTV Canada announced today a carriage deal for the network with Videotron. GOLTV is available on channel 61 (English) and channel 265 (SAP in Spanish) to Zone 1 illico Digital TV subscribers in Quebec which includes Montreal (metropolitan region), Outaouais, Chicoutimi/St-Félicien, Rivière-du Loup, Saint-Pascal and La Pocatière and is currently in a free view period.
GOLTV is Canada’s first 24-hour soccer network, airing more than 1,500 games a year, with live game action from league powerhouses Spain, Italy and Brazil. GOLTV’s weekly live action showcases the world’s top soccer stars, including French star Zinedine Zidane, Brazilian stars Ronaldinho (2004 and 2005 FIFA World Player of the Year) and Ronaldo, British star David Beckham, Italian stars Vieri and Totti, and many others.
GOLTV will also air a slate of international friendly matches leading up to this year’s World Cup. On a weekly basis, the network also features popular league action from Uruguay, Colombia, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, as well as a daily soccer news and highlights program, GOLTV News.
As an added benefit to illico Digital TV subsribers, GOLTV is available in English and Spanish, with a SAP (Supplemental Audio Programming) option for Spanish language commentary.
