I got an email from Setanta regarding Cogeco. They were quite vague on when or if they were going to sort out a deal with Cogeco:

We are negotiating but I don't have a time line. Could be a month or a week

Cogeco is also vague about Setanta. All they say is that they are negotiating and to call them back in September. I think we all have to push hard to ensure that the deal actually gets done, or else we might still be waiting to get the channel in a year from now, just like what happend with the NFL Network (almost all other providers have the Nfl Network accept Cogeco, apparently they are still negotiating...)

May I ask why you are with Cogeco in first place? I mean Bell is cheaper and better quality, plus if you tell them that you have like a Digital box they will try to give you a good deal.

I don’t work for Bell but I did have Cogeco in past and I just couldn’t stand them. I know their customer service got better because there is more competition now. See Rogers and Bell are growing but if you look at Cogeco, they been jumping in a same line for past few years.
