No. Its not hard to set up your ITVN. All you need to do is hook your cable from the Modem to the ITVN box and then conect the audio-video cables from the ITVN to the TV and of course plug the ITVN into the wall. Also you do not need to have your ITVN in the same room as your modem. My ITVN in fact is not even on the same floor of my house. When you buy ITVN you get a tiny 6 foot cable, what I did was I bought a much much longer cable for like $25 and used that instead. Hope this helps.

It's super easy to set the box up, you can easily run a long cord from your modem/router to your TV, or you can also set it up on a wireless network.
The only negative is that it won't allow you to record the game, either on VCR or to computer. Unless someone has a work around, that is!

Play up Pompey.

ITVN actually monkeys with the signal in some way. When I had it plugged into my computer, it wouldn't allow it to record, and the while it recorded on my VCR, it was a poor image due to the same signal.

You can record ITVN on either VCR or DVD and it records perfect quality. It is kind of difficult to explain how to do it. You have to change your VCR or DVD settings to record the output on which your ITVN is plugged into, if you leave your DVD or VCR settings as is, it wont record. For instance, my ITVN is hooked into my DVD on output one, so when I want to record i quickly switch my dvd settings to that output, and then flip back to its regular settings when my recording is done. If you need more information, there is a perfect instructions on www.itvnforums.com
