Hi guys. I'm an England fan who's made the fatal mistake of booking his holiday when the World Cup is on! If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

1. My train arrives in Pacific Central Station Vancouver 20 mins before the 2nd semi kicks off next Wednesday. Does anyone know of any pubs / bars in downtown Vancouver (preferably as close to the station as possible) that will definitely by showing the game?

2. I'm gonna be in Whistler for the final a week on Sunday. I see it's beiing shown on CTV. Is this a commonly received channel I'm likely to be able to find being shown in bars there?

Hi Colin,

Don't worry , you can pretty much walk into any bar and see the game, probably even in the airport. All games are available through either TSN or Sportsnet, which are channels that anybody with even basic cable has access to. As for CTV, it's available to anyone with a Tv so you shouldn't have a problem at all.
