The Stade de Suisse Wankdorf opened in July of 2005 with a seated capacity of 32,000 spectators. The stadium is a multifunctional one with business area, shopping and restaurants. It is accessible by public transit and is apx 15 km away from the local airport and only 3km from the city centre.
