Ten years ago, a single freak play on the soccer field changed the course of Phil Anas Jr. 's life forever. After he was knocked unconscious in a collision with an opponent, Anas Jr. learned that scans had revealed something much worse - a cancerous tumor on his brain. The shock diagnosis threw his life into upheaval, but soon, the road to recovery began. Throughout his journey - which has been filled with ups and downs - Anas Jr. has stayed active in the game of soccer, coaching at a local high school and working as a Patient Partner with the Kick for Dana-Farber program, which fund raises through local soccer teams. This is his story.
