8th Annual A&W Root Beer Float Night is July 28!

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will host their eighth annual A&W Root Beer Float Night on Saturday, July 28, starting at 5:30 p. m. PT in the 7UP Epicenter prior to the club’s match against Real Salt Lake. The Western Conference matchup is scheduled to kick off at 7:15 p. m. TICKETS: . Fans will have delicious A&W Root Beer Floats prepared for them by local celebrities, including NBC’s Ian Cull, ABC7’s Matt Keller and KTVU’s Maureen Naylor, and athletes on the Quakes Special Olympics Unified Team. Following the Quakes First Team match against Real Salt Lake, the United Team will play an intersquad match with Quakes Academy players on the Avaya Stadium field. All fans are asked to make a recommended $5 donation per float, with all proceeds helping the Quakes Special Olympics Unified Team cover travel expenses for their match against the Houston Dynamo Unified Team on Sept. 29. The Special Olympics Unified Sports Program is part of an effort to promote an environment of social inclusion by uniting athletes both with and without intellectual disabilities as they compete for a common goal. Last year’s A&W Root Beer Float Night raised $5,000 for the Positive Coaching Alliance. Each fan that makes the recommended donation will also receive an A&W souvenir cup while supplies last. LIKE: .
