As voted by the fans, one strike was rated higher than the Real Madrid stunners against Juventus and Liverpool.

With a week having passed since Real Madrid won their third straight Champions League crown, fans were given the chance to vote for their Goal of the Tournament. Many believed it would be a competition between the two overhead kicks by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, but the result shocked many.

The Portuguese superstar's acrobatic strike against Juventus, regarded as one of the best – if not the best – goals in the competition, only came in second. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's unforgettable goal earned 18% of the votes, just one off the top spot.

Some argue that Bale's overhead kick against Liverpool was better than Ronaldo's, but that effort by the Welshman did not win either. The goal against the Reds in the final came in third, earning only 12% of the votes.

First place did go to Los Blancos' most expensive signing, but it was his goal against Dortmund that was named the Goal of the Tournament by UEFA users. The Man United target found the back of the net with a lovely volley, connecting with a Dani Carvajal cross en route to a 3-1 win at the Signal Iduna Park.

It was an impressive goal, but whether it was more impressive than the two overhead kicks is debatable. Check out the results of the voting below.
