If Atlético's French striker's signing, one of the fans' favorite footballers could bid farewell to Camp Nou for monetary reasons.

Antoine Griezmann's arrival to Camp Nou could end up being more complicated than initially expected, and we're not talking about the negotiations with Atlético Madrid.

With an apparent deal already agreed since October between the French striker and Los Blaugranas, some of Barcelona's current players have frowned upon his arrival, and yes, it's all about the money.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balón, the French striker's wage demands would make him one of the best-paid players in the team, surpassing the amount of money Luis Suárez earns with the current La Liga champions.

With that in mind, and even though he has a great relationship with Lionel Messi, the Uruguayan striker wouldn't mind leaving the club to join Serie A side Inter Milan if some things fall in place.

The report states that Inter has already submitted a bid to sign Suárez, offering over €100M for the player's services. Suárez would immediately become Inter's top gun, but he will consider the move if and only if Griezmann's wage surpasses his own, and Inter make it to the UEFA Champions League.

Inter needs to beat Lazio during their Matchday 38 clash to secure a spot in the top European club competition in the continent, and the would be ready to splash cash in order to put up a good team for their return to UEFA-sanctioned competitions. Added to that, Inter Milan would be ready to part ways with Mauro Icardi, which could basically fund the bid to sign Suárez.
