Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo admitted to Onda Cero and Radio MARCA's 'El Transistor' programme that he received a phone call from Florentino Perez. He said: "Florentino called to wish me good luck and he said we'll see each other in the UEFA Super Cup.”

Cristiano and Co. will play in their own final in 10 days as they will take on Liverpool in the Champions League final. Should both Madrid sides win their respective games, the 2018/19 season will kick off with a clash between these two clubs in a UEFA Super Cup derby.
