The Hurricane strikes again!

The final match day in the EPL promised some great encounters and the hype was validated from the word go. Tottenham Hotspur’s last league game at Wembley City took off on the wrong foot after a vintage Riyad Mahrez-Jamie Vardy combination gave Leicester City the lead in just four minutes.

The lead was, however, short-lived with Harry Kane leveling the scoring just three minutes later. The 24-year-old forward who is breathing hard on Mohamed Salah’s neck for the Golden Boot gong subsequently reached another goalscoring milestone for Spurs with his 29th league strike.

He became the first player after Clive Allen in 1987 to score 40+ goals in a single league campaign. Allen scored 49 during the 1986/1987 season.
